About Caroline
I have been a qualified therapeutic counsellor since 2011 (I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from the CPCAB.) and I'm an Accredited Member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). Since qualifying, I've built my own private practice and am honoured to have helped so many people find a way to feel more fulfilled. In October 2020, I gained a qualification in Online Counselling which is recognised by the Association of Counselling and Therapy Online (www.acto-org.uk).
I began training to become a therapist simply because it worked for me. That's how I know it can help you, too.
My practice welcomes everyone regardless of sex, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, faith, ability/disability, cultural heritage and race. If I make a mistake and you feel I am exhibiting a bias, please talk to me. I don't know everything and I'm keen to learn.
I'm not a particularly quiet therapist - I do talk, explain my ideas, observations and so on - but I am and always have been an excellent listener, as you'd expect. And I'm really open to laughter in therapy sessions - the work I do is about ALL life, not just the painful bits.
I also have very short hair, multiple piercings and ever-increasing sleeve tattoos!
